𝐋𝐞𝐡, 𝐀𝐮𝐠𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝟏𝟎: The ‘Meri Maati Mera Desh’ initiative, a patriotic endeavor to foster community spirit has taken significant strides forward. Under this noble campaign, several key developments have been accomplished, showcasing the commitment of individuals across the region to their motherland.
As of noon today, a total of 17 dedicated nodal officers and 78 enthusiastic organizers have been officially nominated via the initiative’s online portal. These individuals, driven by a shared vision of unity and patriotism, will play a crucial role in orchestrating various activities that encapsulate the spirit of ‘Meri Maati Mera Desh.’
Furthermore, after planning and coordination, event dates have been successfully finalized for 42 Panchayats. These events promise to bring communities together in the spirit of camaraderie and shared heritage, contributing to the overall ethos of the initiative.
Highlighting the overwhelming response to the campaign, an impressive 559-plus pledges have been recorded. These pledges were taken by RDD officials, elected representatives & officers of Leh administration across all 16 blocks, reaffirming their commitment to the values that ‘Meri Maati Mera Desh’ embodies.
In addition, the initiative’s online portal has been enriched with 21 valuable links and videos. These resources serve to educate and inspire participants, fostering a deep appreciation for our nation’s rich history and diverse culture.
The climax of the ‘Meri Maati Mera Desh’ campaign is set to be a poignant National Flag hoisting ceremony on August 15. On this momentous occasion, the families of our revered national heroes will be felicitated, underscoring the sacrifices that have been made in the name of our nation.
