13th installment of PM Kisan released: Kishtwar admin organises live relay of programme for farmers

KISHTWAR, February 27: District Administration Kishtwar today made elaborate arrangements for live telecast of release of 13th Installment of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi event by Prime Minister Narinder Modi, here at district headquarter, besides at Block headquarters.

Additional District Development Commissioner, Sham Lal along with Chief Agriculture Officer, Amjad Hussain Malik, officers and officials of agriculture and allied sectors besides as many as 100 farmers of Kishtwar block attended the live telecast programme here in the Conferences Hall DC office.  

Farmers hailed the message of the Prime Minister for promoting agri start-ups and pro-farmers initiatives.

Interacting with the farmers, the ADDC  informed that 13000 beneficiary farmers of the district  have been provided Rs 2000 through DBT mode under the 13th installment of PM Kisan.

The farmers were also apprised about initiatives of the government to support the agriculture sector.

Similar live telecast events were arranged at block and Panchayat level by officers and officials of agriculture department for the farmers where large numbers of Farmers participated.
