2 Absconders wanted in various cases held in Ramban

RAMABAN, 24 January 2024: SSP Ramban Mohita Sharma IPS constituted special police teams to apprehend the absconders wanted in various cases.

The dedicated police teams apprehended 02 absconders wanted in two different FIRs of Police Station Ramsoo and Gool.

A case FIR No.87/2019 U/S 279 IPC was registered at Police Station Ramsoo against Javid Ahmed Bhat son of Abdual Majeed Bhat resident of Banali Tehsil Boniyar, District Baramulla . The accused named above was absconding and evading his arrest with a motive to avoid legal proceedings. A General Warrant of Arrest was issued by the Hon’ble Court and after hectic efforts, the police team of PS Ramsoo arrested the above-named absconder and produced him before the Court .

A case FIR NO 41/2023 U/S 452/304/323/34 IPC was registered at Police Station Gool against Khurshid Ahmed Son of Abdul Aziz Manhas resident of Dharam Tehsil Gool District Ramban. He was absconding after the commission of the offence and evading his arrest with a motive to avoid legal proceedings. A General Warrant of Arrest was issued by the Court. The Police team of PS Gool arrested the above-named absconder and produced him before the Hon’ble Court.

Both the above-named absconders were arrested and produced before the Court under the close supervision of SSP Ramban Mohita Sharma IPS.
