2 Day orientation program on watershed management begins in Rajouri

RAJOURI, June 15:  Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Vikas Kundal, today inaugurated two-day capacity building and training program on watershed management program for PRIs, SHGs, Water Committee members and the stakeholders of WDC- Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchayee Yojana.

The event was attended by Assistant Commissioner Panchayat, Sheraz Chowhan and other stakeholders.

The program aims to educate the participants about the importance of watershed management and its benefits for sustainable Agriculture.

In his address, the Deputy Commissioner   shed light on the various aspects of the water management program. He emphasized the need for adopting a sustainable approach towards water management, which not only conserves the natural resources but also ensures their efficient utilization for the benefit of the farmers.
