2 day Seminar cum awareness Camp for Beekeepers culminates at Kishtwar

KISHTWAR, MARCH 07: A two day District level seminar cum awareness workshop on scientific Beekeeping organized by Agriculture Department Kishtwar under National Beekeeping and Honey Mission (NBHM) culminated today at Auditorium, Govt Degree College Kishtwar.

More than 200 farmers/Beekeepers besides the members of FPOs and NRLM, SHG attended the event and also expressed their views regarding the subject.

 The seminar was inaugurated by Deputy Commissioner Dr Devansh Yadav, the other day.

Held under the guidance of Chief Agriculture Officer, Amjad Hussain Malik, the Seminar was organised to educate the local farmers and Beekeepers about latest techniques.

  During the two day event, concerned officers and Resource persons from Krishi Vigyan Kendra gave detailed presentations on various intervention schemes of the department for the promotion of Beekeeping in the region.
