2 held for drug peddling in Srinagar; heroin, cash seized

SRINAGAR, 11 March: With the aim to eradicate the drug menace from society, Srinagar Police apprehended 2 drug peddlers on Saturday.

As per prima-facie, the accused have been identified as Adil Rashid Bhat resident of Usmanabad Bemina & Parvez Ahmad Sheikh of Boniyar Baramulla.

It is learnt that 50 gms of Heroin & Rs 1,04,000 have been recovered from their possession.

Police has registered an FIR under NDPS Act, and taken up further investigation.
