2 held with consignment of drugs in Kulgam

KULGAM, 23 MAY: With aim to eradicate drug menace from society, District Police Kulgam apprehended two drug peddlers on Tuesday.

As per prima facie, the two have been identified as M Yousuf Khanday and Kamran Gull Bhat. 1.7 grams of Charas, 11 Kg of Poppy Straw and 12 bottles of Codeine phosphate have been recovered from their possession.

A case under NDPS Act has been registered and further investigation is being taken up in this regard.
