2 vehicles involved in Illegal Mining seized in Thathri area

DODA, October 31:  In a major crackdown on illegal mining activities, the District Mining Officer (DMO) Doda, under the supervision of Deputy Commissioner Vishesh Paul Mahajan, seized 2 vehicles loaded with illegal minor mineral material during a late evening raid in Thathri area.

The vehicles were seized in a joint operation, orchestrated by District Mineral Officer Sunil Kumar Manhas, with the police department. The operation was meticulously executed in accordance with the laws outlined in the Mineral Act.

The decisive action against illegal mining marks a significant step towards preserving the region’s natural resources and upholding the rule of law.
