3-Day training program for mushroom growers concludes at Krishi Bhawan Jammu

JAMMU, May 18: Three Day orientation cum training program organized by Mushroom Development Scheme for farmers and mushroom entrepreneurs from May 16 concluded today here at Krishi Bhawan, TalabTillo.

Training Programmed module was designed and structured with all the theoretical as well practical classes, Trainees were provided all the relevant information to become Mushroom growers with concept of Business entrepreneurs in mushroom’s cultivation practices for all round the year cultivation of Button, Dhingri and Milky Mushroom were taught mushroom business, So batch of 20 No participant of Young educated Qualified Youths having the qualification of MBA and Engineers and Sciences.

Group discussion was held among the old Regular Mushroom Growers with newly interested growers to know about the technology for making mushroom cultivation success.

K.K. Sharma, Director Agriculture Jammu presided over the valedictory function and appreciated the youngsters for taking Agriculture/Mushroom as Business. Certificates were given to all the Participants for attending the 3 day Programme.

Sanjay Dhar, Mushroom Development Officer Jammu thanked the participants for making the Training/orientation Grand  success and promised more training events will be conducted for rural educated youths in near future.
