3 week ‘Yuva Vani’ programme under HADP concludes in District Ramban
Thousands of youth sensitized about agri-business
RAMBAN, DECEMBER 07: The three week ‘Yuva Vani’ Programme under HADP concluded in district Ramban after successful awareness events held in all 11 blocks and 5 Degree colleges.
The aim of the programme was to sensitize the youth about Agri- business. On the last day a series of ‘Yuva Vani’ programmes were held in Gool and Rajgarh blocks of the district to encourage youth to avail Holistic Agriculture Development Programme (HADP) schemes.
Attending the program at Block Gool, Chief Animal Husbandry Officer, Dr. Suhail Jan Kawoosa, who is also Nodal Officer HADP in the district, sensitized the participants about the ‘Yuva Vani’ programme and Daksh Kissan. “There are ample business opportunities available in agriculture and allied sectors for the youth,” he said. The participants showed keen interest in opting for Agricultural entrepreneurship which has been designed exclusively for the youth within the age group of 18-35 years.
The programme was also attended by Dr Ilyas Zargar, VAS Gool, Dr. Rayees Ahmad Bafanda (MVO Ramban) and representatives of different line departments, besides a large number of youth.
Similar programme was also organized at Block Rajgarh under the patronage of the Chief Agriculture Officer (CAO), Ramban, Ram Gopal Sharma.
Sensitizing the youth, the CAO encouraged the unemployed youth to avail the benefits of Agriculture and allied sector schemes being provided under Holistic Agriculture Development Plan. He said that unemployed youth should come forward and avail benefits of various schemes of agri-allied departments.
The programme was also attended by Dr. Mohsin Ahmad Parray, Dr Parimveer Mobile Veterinary Officer and representatives of different line departments, besides a large number of youth.
