39 Narco-Suppliers arrested in Samba: Police

SAMBA, 18 May 2023: Under the guidance of SSP Samba Benam Tosh, Police achieved another success, arrested the notorious drug peddler and recovered opium weighing 40 grams approximately and cash amounting to Rs 20,180 from his possession.

The arrested drug peddler has been identified as Peer Mohd r/o Badheri, Samba. A case has been registered at Police Station Samba and further investigation is underway.

After the launch of a special drive against narco smugglers, suppliers and peddlers on the directions of SSP Samba Benam Tosh, a total of 39 notorious narco-suppliers has been arrested by police in four months in district Samba and several top narco-suppliers have been booked under relevant sections of law in different FIRs and raids are on to arrest them.
