3rd phase of FLNAT Assessment test under ULLAS was conducted in Leh district
Leh, Mar 17,2024: The conduct of the 3rd phase of the Foundational Literacy and Numeracy Assessment Test (FLNAT) NILP under ULLAS was successfully conducted across all zones in Leh district.
The primary aim of the FLNAT Assessment was to achieve 100 % literacy in the district. It is a centrally sponsored scheme and comes under Chief Education Officer, Sonam Wangchok. It was observed that adult learners demonstrated active participation in the test. It was further informed that the 1st and 2nd NILP Assessment test was already held in 2023 and this is the 3rd phase under which only 2% illiteracy is left to be achieved. FLNAT is an all India scheme and it was informed with great pride that Ladakh will become the first UT in India to achieve full literacy if the remaining 2% literacy is also achieved.
It was apprised that the Director, School Education Department, UT Ladakh, Tsering Paldan, Chief Education Officer, Leh, Sonam Angchuk, ZEO Leh, District Coordinator NILP Leh, Tsering Yangzom, Vigilator, Thinless Wangmo and PRI Members visited exam centres in Stok and Matho.
Tashigatsal Tashithongsmon has also expressed satisfaction with the arrangements and the learner’s active engagement. It was informed that all the concerned ZEOs and ZEPOs took the responsibility and supervised the exam centres of their respective Zones.
