RAMBAN, JULY 29: The fifth round of the Kisan Sampark Abhiyan-3.0 (Farmers Orientation Programme) under the Holistic Agriculture Development Programme was spearheaded by the District Nodal Officer, Chief Animal Husbandry Officer Ramban, Dr. Suhail Kawoosa, across nine blocks of the district.

The one-day Farmers’ Orientation Programme ended today on a positive note, with an overwhelming response from the farming community in all nine blocks of the district.
Audio-visual aids were used to disseminate information about different government-sponsored schemes meant for the welfare of farmers involved in agriculture, animal husbandry, sheep husbandry, horticulture, apiculture, pisciculture and sericulture.

Resource persons from various departments provided awareness regarding various employment-friendly schemes to the participating farmers. Additionally, farmers were informed about Daksh Kisan (an online learning portal for skill development), Kissan Khidmat Garh (KKG), credit-linked schemes, and Kisan Sathi (IT Dashboard) portals, which are part of the digitalization of various services and schemes.
