4 thieves held with stolen 17 mobile phones, LED TV in Udhampur

UDHAMPUR, 7 March 2024: Udhampur Police have solved a theft case of PS Udhampur by arresting 4 accused persons involved in the commission of crime and recovered stolen property (17 mobile phones and 1 LED TV) from them.

Police Station Udhampur received a complaint from one Aamir Hussain S/O Bashir Hussain R/O W.No 04 H.NO 166 Behind PS Udhampur stating therein that some unknown thieves have stolen mobiles from his shop in the jurisdiction of PS Udhampur.

In this regard, a case FIR under relevant sections of law stands registered in PS Udhampur

Taking cognizance of the matter, a team of PS Udhampur headed by SHO PS Udhampur Insp Raghubir Singh rounded up a few suspects and put them to sustained questioning. During which 4 suspects Mukesh Kumar S/O Hem Raj R/o Bhaga Tehsil and District Reasi, Muneer Ahmed S/O Mohd Iqbal R/O Debrah Krimachi Tehsil and District Udhampur, Asquer Ali s/O Manzoor Ahmed R/o Chak Near Matadoor stand Tehsil & District Udhampur and Krishan Jamwal S/O Ram Charan R/O Darora Chak Tehsil & District Udhampur confessed their involvement in the said case who have been arrested by the Police team.

On the confession of all 4 accused persons stolen property (17 mobile phones and one LED TV) has been recovered by the police team within 24 hours.
