40-year-old-woman found murdered in Bengaluru’s KR Puram
Bengaluru (Karnataka) [India], April 10 (ANI): The body of a 40-year-old woman was found in TC Palya Main road of KR Puram area in Bengaluru, police said on Monday.
The deceased has been identified as Ambika, police said, and added that her husband had died of illness a few months ago.
‘Upon receiving the information, the police reached the spot and found injuries on her body,” KR Puram police said.
According to the police, the murder took place three days ago but came to light on Sunday late evening.
Police said the immediate cause of the murder could not be ascertained and an investigation is underway.
A case has been registered under relevant sections of the Indian penal code at KR Puram police station.

Earlier, in April a 30-year-old woman allegedly died by hanging herself on Thursday and an army officer’s brother succumbed to injuries after three drunken men allegedly assaulted him in the first week of the month.
Police said that a 30-year-old woman allegedly died by hanging herself at Honnappa Layour near Hennur Bande in Bengaluru on Thursday afternoon.
“Upset with her husband for not bringing chocolate, the woman took the extreme step,” police further said.
The police added that the couple Nandini and Goutham had known each other from college and were married with two children. While Goutham who works at a salon in Sahakaranagar was leaving for his workplace, both had an argument, as per the police. Nandini asked Goutham to buy her chocolate. He left saying he would return with chocolate, but did not answer Nandini’s calls, police said.
Police said that an army officer’s brother succumbed to injuries in Bengaluru after three drunken men allegedly assaulted him and his sister for raising objections to loud music.
Lloyd Nemaiah succumbed to his injuries at a hospital on Tuesday, April 4, police said.
