BARAMULLA, 17 April: Launching a heavy crackdown on drug menace, District Police Baramulla apprehended 6 drug peddlers at different locations on Monday.

As per prima-facie, 4 kg of Poppy Straw, 190 grams of Charas & 1 gram of Brown Sugar have been recovered from their possession. Besides the accused have been nabbed from Kachwa Muqam, Ferozpora, Durhama Wagoora, Harduaboora & Janbazpora.

Police has registered the cases under relevant provision and taken up further investigation.
