6 held for illegal mining in Baramulla; tipper, 5 tractors seized

BARAMULLA, 26 April: Acting tough against illegal mining, District Police Baramulla apprehended 6 persons for being involved in the illegal excavation and transportation of minerals at Fatehgarh Sheeri & Chakloo, Baramulla.

It is learnt that one tipper and five tractors have been seized.

Police has registered the case under the requisite provision and launched further investigation.
