6th Batch of Aapda Mitra volunteers complete skill training course at Jammu

JAMMU, December 22: A valedictory function for outgoing 6th batch of 163 Aapda Mitra Volunteers was organised today here at SDRF 2nd Bn. Gandhi Nagar. The event witnessed demonstrations on fire-fighting, flood rope crossing, rappelling, climbing & rescue from huge buildings.

On this occasion, Dy. SP Principal CTI HG, CD Jammu Ashok Sharma highlighted the training activities conducted for this batch and also appreciated all the trainees for their active participation and involvement in this training process.

Randheer Singh, SSP I/C Commandant SDRF 2nd Bn Jammu thanked all the stakeholders for their contribution in the successful completion of the training course. He also presented merit certificates to the trained volunteers. During an interaction with the volunteers, he exhorted them to be disciplined and to build their capacity and capabilities in this domain of knowledge. He also advised them to spread the knowledge and skills which they have learnt during the training period.

Among others present on the occasion were  Aijaz Ali, SP(S), Gurvinder Kour, Dy.SP, Anita Pawar, Dy.SP,  Daljit Singh, Dy.SP,  Mohinder Paul Dy.SP, Insp.Sunil Sharma, Insp.Vishal Dubey, Insp.Sanjeev Kalsi and staff members of Directorate of HG/CD & SDRF J&K and DIG office HG/CD & SDRF Jammu were also present on the occasion.
