7-Day National Workshop on Communication Skills and Personality Development Concludes in GDC Kishtwar
KISHTWAR, July 13: The week-long National Workshop on Communication Skills and Personality Development organized by the Career Counseling and Guidance Cell of Government Degree College Kishtwar in collaboration with the Indian Army, concluded successfully.
The valedictory ceremony witnessed the presence of Col. Ameya Chiplunkar from 17 RR as the chief guest and Dr. Kuldeep Kumar Sharma, Principal of GDC Bhadarwah as the guest of honor.
The program was chaired by Prof. Faisal Mushtaq, Coordinator of the Career Counseling and Guidance Cell, under the overall supervision of the College Principal Prof. (Dr.) Jyoti Parihar.
During the workshop, distinguished guest speakers including Dr. (Prof.) Jagriti Upadhayaya from Sardar Patel University of Jodhpur, Maj. Rohit Kumar Jha, and Col. Ameya Chiplunkar of 17 RR delivered enlightening sessions.
The workshop saw the enthusiastic participation of around 200 students and 60 faculty members from the School and Higher Education departments.
The event was inaugurated on July 6th by Dr. Devansh Yadav Deputy Commissioner, in the presence of SSP, Khalil Poswal.
The primary objective of this workshop was to foster communication skills, correct pronunciation, phonetics usage, addressing common errors in everyday English, public speaking skills, the art of writing presentations, and personality development among the participants.
The sessions were designed to enhance the overall confidence and professional development of the attendees.
The Career Counseling and Guidance Cell of GDC Kishtwar, in collaboration with the Indian Army, expressed gratitude to all the guest speakers, participants, and faculty members for their active involvement, making the workshop a resounding success.
