76 Battalion CRPF, Health Department organise free medical camp

JAMMU, FEBRUARY 08: Continuing it’s endeavour towards wellness of civilians, 76 Battalion CRPF, in collaboration with J&K Health Department, organized a free medical camp under Civic Action Programme here today. 

The camp was held in the Prem Bhawan Banquet Hall Residency Road, under the guidance of Sandeep Khirwar, IG Jammu Sector and Ramesh Kumar, DIG Jammu Range.

A number of needy people of the area availed the free health care and learnt about prevention and symptoms of different  diseases.

Medical Officers, Dr. S. Sowmiya, 76 Battalion, CRPF and Dr. Sanjay Bhasin conducted free medical check-up of around 290 civilians and provided free medicines.

Earlier, T.H. Khan, Commandant-76 Bn inaugurated the Civic Action programme and appealed to the people of the area to stay fit by doing physical exercises regularly. He sensitized them about healthy lifestyle and hygiene. Besides, he also elaborated the role of the CRPF in maintaining cordial relationship between locals and force.

Mahendra Singh 2IC, Rajesh Kumar Yadav 2IC, Girish Chandra Singh Sontiyal, Deputy Commandant, Priyanka Singh Parihar, Assistant Commandant and Praveen Kumar Assistant Commandant of 76 Bn CRPF also participated in the camp.

The initiative drew positive response and was received well by the locals with the urge that the CRPF organize such camps in future too.
