76 Battalion: CRPF organises free health camp for civilians at Village- Raipur
JAMMU, January 12: Continuing its endeavour towards Wellness of Civilians, 76 Battalion CRPF, in collaboration with J&K Health Department, organized a free medical camp under Civic Action Programme today at Village- Raipur, Near Bantalab, Jammu.
Held under the guidance of Sandeep Khirwar, IG Jammu Sector and Ramesh Kumar, DIG Jammu Range, the main objective of the camp was to reach out to the needy people of the area with free healthcare and spread awareness about the common health issues and their prevention.
Two Medical Officers, Dr S Sowmiya from 76 Battalion, CRPF and Dr Kavita Bhat and Dr Priyanka conducted free medical check-ups of around 320 civilians and provided free medicines.
T.H. Khan, Commandant-76 Bn inaugurated the Civic Action programme and appealed to all people of the area to remain fit by doing physical exercises regularly and sensitized them to maintain a healthy lifestyle & hygiene. Besides, he also elaborated the role of the CRPF in maintaining cordial relationship between locals & force.
Mahendra Singh 2IC, Rajesh Kumar Yadav 2IC, Karnail Singh Dy. Comdt., Debu Dhakarwal, Asstt. Comdt. of 76 Bn CRPF also participated in the camp.
The initiative drew positive response and was received well by the locals with the urge that CRPF to organize such camps in the future also.
