76th Republic Day celebrated with patriotic fervor at Party headquarter Sher-e-Kashmir Bhawan, Jammu

Rattan Lal Gupta hoists National Flag; highlights commitment of Omar Govt in addressing people’s issues

Jammu 27th : The 76th Republic Day was celebrated with great patriotic fervor at Party headquarter Sher-e-Kashmir Bhawan, Jammu, where Rattan Lal Gupta, Provincial President of Jammu and Kashmir National Conference (JKNC), hoisted the National Flag in the presence of  Mr Ajay Kumar Sadhotra former minister and Additional General Secretary Jammu and senior party leaders, functionaries, and enthusiastic party workers. The event witnessed a spirit of nationalism and commitment towards strengthening democracy and upholding constitutional values.  

Extending warm greetings to the people of Jammu and Kashmir on the occasion, Rattan Lal Gupta said, “This day holds immense significance as it marks the adoption of the Indian Constitution, which guarantees the rights and freedoms of every citizen. It is our collective responsibility to uphold the values enshrined in this sacred document.” He urged the people, especially the younger generation, to read and understand the Constitution to be aware of their rights and duties as responsible citizens.  

Emphasizing the deep-rooted democratic traditions of Jammu and Kashmir, Rattan Lal Gupta asserted that the people have always reposed immense faith in the National Conference, evident from the massive mandate given to the party in the Assembly elections. He reiterated that National Conference remains steadfast in its commitment to addressing the aspirations and concerns of the people, ensuring equitable development, and safeguarding the interests of all sections of society.  

Highlighting the leadership of Omar Abdullah, Rattan Lal Gupta assured that the National Conference government will work tirelessly to fulfill the expectations of the general public. “The people of Jammu and Kashmir deserve a government that is dedicated to their welfare, and under Omar Abdullah’s leadership, JKNC will leave no stone unturned in delivering good governance, development, and peace,” he affirmed.  

Calling upon party workers to remain deeply connected with the people at the grassroots level, Rattan Lal Gupta stressed the importance of dedicated public service. “Our strength lies in our people, and it is the duty of every party worker to be among them, listen to their grievances, and work towards resolving them. This is the true essence of public service,” he said.  

The event concluded with slogans of patriotism and unity, reinforcing the party’s unwavering commitment to upholding democratic values and working for a prosperous Jammu and Kashmir.
