8 apprehended; 6 tippers, 2 tractors seized in connection with illegal mining: Baramulla Police

BARAMULLA, 9 July: Acting tough against crime, District Police Baramulla on Sunday apprehended 8 drivers in connection with the transportation and excavation of illegal minerals at Ferozpora Nallah and Bongam Kunzer.

As per prima-facie, 6 tippers and 2 tractors have also been seized in this regard.

Police has registered a case and set in motion the investigation.
