8 arrested in Bandipora gambling raid: Stake money, cards seized

In a crackdown on illegal gambling activities, the Bandipora Police have apprehended eight individuals engaged in gambling at Kan Mohalla SK Bala, Ajas.

The operation carried out under the jurisdiction of PP Ajas (PS Sumbal), resulted in the confiscation of stake money and trump cards.

Acting on specific information about gambling activities in the area, a police party from PP Ajas conducted a raid.

The surprise raid led to the successful apprehension of all eight individuals.

A case has been registered under relevant sections of the law at PP Ajas (PS Sumbal) and further investigation is underway.
