People turned up in large numbers and were keen to learn about the schemes of HADP and other Centrally Sponsored Schemes as well. A first of its kind in the country, DAKSH KISAN, has been developed by Agriculture Production Department, where 118 skilling courses as per the agro-climatic zones of the J&K UT are available for free to the farmers. In addition to this, thread bare discussions and Question Answer sessions were held at every panchayat following each video screening session to address farmers’ concerns.
