Cleanliness drive held at Nyoma

LEH, April 7:  As a part of Swachhta Hi Seva, a cleanliness drive was conducted by Rural Development Department, Leh at block headquarter Nyoma.

The initiative was undertaken by the villagers, staff of different departments and students participated in the cleanliness drive.

Block Development Officer, Nyoma stressed on the importance of using eco-friendly products. Further, villagers were instructed to avoid the usage of single-use plastic by explaining the harmful effects of them and were encouraged to use cloth bags.
