Chanapora Prostitution Case: J&K Police books two accused under PSA

J&K Police on Saturday said that it has booked the main accused of the Chanapora Sex scandal case under Public Safety Act (PSA).

In a tweet, Srinagar Police said that the two main accused were arrested from Baghi-e-Mehtab locality. Police said that FIR No.19/2023 under sections 3,4,8 of the Immortal trafficking act has been registered at Chanapura Police Station.

The accused were identified as Mohd Shafi Hajam son Abdul Khaliq Hajam resident of Karimabad Pulwama and Arshad Ahmad Bhat son of Mohd Shaban resident of Pampore, Pulwama.

Earlier, on April 3, the J&K Police busted a prostitution racket in Bagh-e-Mehtab area of central Kashmir’s Srinagar district.
