Assessment Camp with ALIMCO held at Nyoma subdivision
LEH, April 12: An Assessment camp for the Senior Citizens and Persons with Disabilities was held at Nyoma subdivision today, in continuation to the series of assessment camps organised by Social Welfare Department, Leh in collaboration with Artificial Limbs Manufacturing Corporation of India (ALIMCO)and Health Department, Leh.
Around 38 beneficiaries, including both senior citizens and PwDs were identified and assessed during the camp by a team of doctors from ALIMCO, Health department, Leh.
Similarly, nine Unique Disability Identity Cards (UDIDs) were also issued during the camp.
Further, the public is informed that a similar assessment camp by the Social Welfare Department and ALIMCO is scheduled to be held in Leh on April 15th, 2023 at Paras Hall, Govt Boys Higher Secondary School.
