DC Kishtwar hosts Iftar for Inmates of Gujjar & Bakarwal Hostel Chatroo

Extends Ramadan, Eid Greetings to students

KISHTWAR, APRIL 17: Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar Dr. Devansh Yadav today evening visited the Gujjar & Bakarwal (G&B) Hostel in Chatroo, where he interacted with the inmates and hosted  Iftar  for them.

 Additional Deputy Commissioner, Inderjeet Singh Parihar; SDM Chatroo Dr. Mohsin Raza; Officials including Tehsildar Suman ji Sharma, SHO Chatroo Parvaiz Ahmed and  the Warden of the Hostel accompanied him.

During the visit, the Deputy Commissioner enquired about the facilities being provided to the inmates.

The visit is a part of the administration’s efforts to ensure that the welfare of the inmates is taken care of and that they are provided with all necessary facilities.

The Deputy Commissioner avowed that the administration will augment the students’ learning experience at the Gujjar & Bakerwal Hostel by providing a novel library and a reading space. In addition, online learning material and sports equipment shall also be furnished, catering to the holistic development of the students.

He also conveyed his felicitations of the Holy month of Ramadhan to the hostel inmates on the occasion.

He further said that the administration will continue to work towards the betterment of the inmates’ living conditions and provide them with a safe and comfortable environment.
