JKNC Central Zone distributes Wheel Chairs among specially-abled

JAMMU, April 18: In the sacred month of Ramadan, Jammu and Kashmir National Conference Central Zone, today distributed Wheel Chairs to specially-abled persons at Bahu Fort.

On this occasion, Babu Rampaul Former minister and Zonal President JKNC was the chief guest. The function was organised by Dr Vikas Sharma, Zonal Secretary and Coordinator Jammu District (Urban) JKNC.

While addressing the public, Rampaul reiterated the resolve of National Conference to be at the back and call of those indigents, living in poverty and always in readiness to help them, which has been taught by Sher-e-Kashmir, Jenab Sheikh Mohd. Abdullah.

Helping the helpless and promoting amity and brotherhood is the hallmark of National Conference Party, he said, adding that do good for humanity and move on to carry forward the mission of philanthropy under all circumstances.

Lamenting the forced bifurcation of J&K State and formation of Union Territory, Jammu and Kashmir as well Union Territory Ladakh, Babu Rampal said that the people here are living a very miserable life nor is there any one dependable in the UT Govt to take care of grievances and hardships of people.

He asserted that NC will continue to put in backbreaking efforts to mitigate the difficulties of the masses. He alleged that by installing Smart Meters, the Government is swindling money from the consumers, though there is no reasonably required availability of power with the Government.

Hot weather has suddenly started hitting the people in the month of April and the fate of the public in J&K, especially in Jammu Division can well be visualized in the coming months given the negligence and poor performance of the Govt in the Power Sector in JKUT.

Further Former Minister said that despite the dilapidated condition of National Highway road from Lakhanpur to Jammu, the Govt is extracting toll tax from the road users, which is totally unjustified and uncalled for. 

Addressing the gathering, Zonal Secretary JKNC Dr Vikas Sharma appealed the public to come forward and strengthen the hands of NC Party led by Dr Farooq Abdhulla and Jenab Omar Abdullah, which the legacy of watching the basic interests of public and providing people-friendly Government as well, he added.

Dr Vikas Sharma gave a call to youth of the region to come out of their comfort zones and launch a struggle for their rights under the banner of the National Conference.

He mentioned that during the Jenab Omar Abdullah led NC government, jobs were provided to a large number of youth, RTI Act was enacted to eradicate corruption and several other revolutionary steps were taken to push J&K on the path of development. He expressed that NC will bring back the golden era for people of J&K.
