DC Rajouri inspects provision of amenities in shelter home- Parisha
Distributes Sweets and Gifts among inmate on Eid
RAJOURI, April 20: Deputy Commissioner Rajouri Vikas Kundal conducted an inspection of Parisha, a shelter home for girls in distress or in need of care and shelter. The purpose of the visit was to review the arrangements and facilities being provided to the inmates and to interact with them to seek feedback on their stay.
During the visit, the Deputy Commissioner distributed sweets and other gifts among the inmates and wished them a happy Eid. This gesture was appreciated by the girls living in the Parisha and expressed their gratitude to the Deputy Commissioner for his concern and support.
The District Social Welfare Officer also briefed the Deputy Commissioner about the functioning of Parisha and the initiatives being taken to provide support to the girls who are in need of care and protection.
The Deputy Commissioner appreciated the efforts of the Social Welfare Department in providing necessary care and support to the inmates.
While interacting with inmates, the Deputy Commissioner reiterated the administration’s commitment to providing a safe and secure environment for girls living in distress. He emphasised the need for providing necessary facilities and support to the inmates and directed the concerned officials to take all necessary measures to ensure their safety and security.
“The visit was aimed at ensuring that the inmates are provided with all necessary facilities and support”, said DC Rajouri.
The administration is committed to the welfare of the women living in distress and will take all necessary steps to provide them with a safe and secure environment.
In addition to the visit at Parisha, the Deputy Commissioner also inspected the Phulwari and reviewed the facilities being provided to the newborns. He directed the concerned officials to ensure that all necessary measures are taken to provide a safe and secure environment for the babies and their mothers.
