Swachhta Carvaan carried out in Reasi blocks

Students, people from all walks of life participate in series of activities

REASI, April 27: To promote cleanliness and hygiene among the public, Swachta Carvaan was carried out across Reasi district, here today. The initiative aimed at promoting the Swachh Bharat Mission (SBM), was a grand success, with people from all walks of life participating in the activities.

The Swachta Carvaan was received at Aghar Jitto by the District Administration of Reasi, where a Swachhta debate competition was organised at the local government school. The competition saw the participation of students and teachers, who actively engaged in discussions on the importance of cleanliness and its role in promoting a healthy lifestyle.

Later, the Swachta Carvaan reached Pouni, where it was received by the Block Development Officer. Visual messages on the cleanliness mission were displayed on LED during the event, creating awareness among the people about the importance of cleanliness.

A large number of people participated in the Swachta Carvan activities, which included cleanliness drives, awareness programs, and interactive sessions. The Karwan then reached Block Panthal, where a large number of people joined the Carvaan and disseminated the message to the general masses.

Sarpanches and Panches participated in the Karwan, making it a truly inclusive initiative. The Swachta Carvaan was aimed at promoting cleanliness and hygiene, creating awareness among the people about the importance of keeping their surroundings clean and hygienic, and promoting the Swachh Bharat Mission.
