Special SVEEP Camps held in Educational Intuitions of Reasi

RAJOURI, April 28: As part of the ongoing Special Summary Revision of Photo Electoral Rolls 2023, a series of Special Camps were organised in Colleges of District Reasi and Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University, Kakryal, Katra under the aegis of Systematic Voters’ Education and Electoral Participation (SVEEP).

 Babila Rakwal, District Election Officer (Deputy Commissioner), Reasi, along with the Deputy District Election Officer, Reasi, Electoral Registration Officer, Reasi,  Assistant Electoral Registration Officer (Tehsildar), Reasi and other officers  visited  Govt. Degree College, Reasi, Govt. Polytechnic College, Reasi and Govt. ITI Reasi, where the Booth Level Officers were available with copies of the draft Electoral Roll and relevant Forms.

Awareness was created among the staff and students of these Colleges and Institutes. The students and staff were given detailed information about the ongoing Special Summary Revision of Photo Electoral Rolls 2023 and the process of enrollment, correction and deletion of names. The students were impressed upon to take part in the Summary Revision.
