Ghulam Hassan Mir visits Kunzer fire victims, expresses solidarity
Urges administration to provide compensation to the duffers so that they can rebuild their businesses
SRINAGAR, December 29: Apni Party Senior Vice President Ghulam Hassan Mir on Thursday visited Kunzer area of Tangmarg in north Kashmir’s Baramulla, wherein at least three shops and a computer institute gutted in a fire incident this morning. A firefighter was also injured while he was performing his duty.
According to a statement issued here, Ghulam Hassan Mir along with some party colleagues visited the spot to take stock of the demages due to the unfortunate incident.
On this occasion, he met the sufferers and assured them that he will raise the matter with concerned officials to ensure the persons who met with losses are compensated.
Expressing his grief over the losses, he said, “I am deeply saddened about the fire incident, and I extend my sympathies to sufferers. I stand in solidarity with them in this hour of grief.”
Urging the concerned authorities to provide compensation to the fire victims, Apni Party leader said, “Authorities should provide immediate help and compensation to the sufferers so that they can rebuild their businesses before the harsh winter starts.”
