Sports Authority of India, Training Centre, Kargil announces Selection Trials for Boxing & Taekwondo for 2023-24

LEH, 15 May: Sports Authority of India, Training Centre, Kargil, UT Ladakh, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports has announced that it will conduct selection trials for Boxing & Taekwondo for the year 2023-24. The trials are open for boys and girls aged between 12 to 18 years and will be held at Khree Sultan Choo Sports Stadium, Baimathang Kargil on 25th-26th May 2023 and Open Stadium Spituk/Astroturf football ground Leh on 28th-29th May 2023. The reporting time at the venues is 9 am.

The following facilities will be provided to the participants during the trials: Free Boarding & Lodging; Free Training/ Coaching; Free Medical/ Insurance; Free Sports Kit; Free Competition Exposure. To participate in the selection trials, interested applicants need to submit photocopies of their Date of Birth Certificate, Residence Proof, Aadhaar Card, Achievement Certificates in the concerned discipline, and Educational Certificates along with 02 passport-size photographs.

Registration forms can be collected from the office of the Sports Authority of India, Training Centre, Kargil and District Youth Service and Sports Office, Leh during office hours. Registration forms are also available at the venue. It is to be noted that no TA/DA will be provided to the participants.
