4th phase of Disaster Management training concludes in Durbuk, Rong-Chumathang blocks

LEH, May 17: The 4th phase of Disaster Management training, organised by District Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) Leh in collaboration with Union Territory Disaster Response Force (UTDRF) and Aapda Mitra volunteers, at 14 Halqa Panchayats of Durbuk and Rong Chumathang blocks concluded successfully today.

In these disaster management training the resource persons disseminated awareness and information about risk reduction measures and early response and safety mechanisms and procedures in the wake of any unfortunate incident.

SDM; Tehsildar; BDO; BDC; elected PRI members, including Sarpanches, Panches; Women Associations and school students in different Halqa Panchayats of Durbuk & Rong Chumathang participated in these training.

The 5th phase of the training is scheduled to commence from May 21st 2023 onwards in Nyoma, Kharu and Singaylalok blocks.
