Weekly Block Diwas: DC holds public grievances redressal camp at Block Narsoo

UDHAMPUR, MAY 24: To address the grievances of the public, Deputy Commissioner, Udhampur Sachin Kumar Vaishya, along with SSP, Dr Vinod Kumar and a team of District officers, conducted a public outreach cum grievances redressal camp here at Block Narsoo of District Udhampur.

   DDC Councillor Narsoo, Subash Chander;  BDC  Chairman Narsoo, Sardara Begum,  Sarpanches, Panches and  local people  of adjoining panchayats participated in Block Diwas.

They projected several demands and issues  and demanded  adequate supply of drinking water, effective Traffic regulation  on NH, check on drug menace,  Up-gradation of High School Moud and Kaither to next level, adequate staff in Educational and Health institutions, control on Monkey menace, release of pending land compensation, clearance of pending liabilities under 14th FC, Establishment of grid station, repair  of  damaged hand pumps, plugging of water leakages, Road connectivity, Forest clearance for proposed projects, construction of marriage hall in Narsoo block, Upgradation of Middle school Dhramthal to High school, Appointment of Urdu teacher, Conducting survey of 4th phase PMGSY roads, Opening of Ration depot etc

The DC gave a patient hearing to the demands and problems of the people and directed the concerned officers to take necessary action under norms for their early redressal.

The DC directed the officers to visit people’s doorstep and provide them with all the basic facilities. The concerned officers were directed to resolve the genuine public demands on priority and submit the detailed report of pending issues, so that same are projected to higher authorities for consideration.
