2 drug peddlers held with Heroin, cash at Pandori Bridge in Kathua

KATHUA, 1 June 2023: District Kathua recovered Heroin (Chitta) like narcotics alongwith cash amount of Rs 34,900 in the jurisdictional area of PS Rajbagh near Pandori Bridge and 2 persons were arrested alongwith seized 1 motorbike involved on Thursday.

On 31 May 2023, a police team laid a Naka at Pandori Bridge and apprehended 2 suspicious persons Farman Ali and Rashid Ali both R/o Chak Devi Keerian Gandyal, tehsil Kathua who were coming from Nagri Parole towards Korepunnu on their motorcycle bearing number PB06BC-8672.

On Physical search, heroin (Chitta) like narcotics alongwith cash amount of Rs. 34,900/- were recovered from their illegal possession.

Meanwhile, all the recovered narcotics substance, cash Rs. 34900 alongwith involved motorbike was seized and 2 persons were arrested.

On this, a case stands registered at P/S Rajbagh and further investigation was set into the probe.
