Police file chargesheet against 9 accused involved in 2022 murderous attack in Samba

SAMBA, 3 June 2023: Police filed a chargesheet against 9 notorious accused involved in a murderous attack on a police case registered in 2022 at Police Station Ghagwal through Police Post Rajpura.

As per the case diary, on 28 December 2022, a police party of Police Post Rajpura while on duty was attacked by the bovine smugglers at Malaani village situated in the border area of Samba sector in the jurisdiction of PP Rajpura, PS Ghagwal and consequently 2 police officials were injured.

One head constable had sustained grievous head injuries. A case was registered at Police Station Ghagwal through Police Post Rajpura, the investigation was started and the main accused persons were arrested.

As the investigation of the case had been completed and a case was proved against nine hardcore accused. The challan of the case has been produced in the court of law for judicial determination.

The notorious accused against whom a chargesheet has been filed by police included, Shab Ali @Gugu r/o Handa Chak, Mohd Sadiq @Shiku r/o Chak Bathal Kathua, Sadiq Ali r/o Lakhadi Nagrota Udhampur A/P Haripur tehsil Mahreen, Maskeen Ali @ Jatu r/o Chappaki tehsil Mahreen, Makhan Din r/o Malaani tehsil Rajpura, Zahoor Din r/o Malaani tehsil Rajpura, Mohd Shareef r/o Malaani tehsil Rajpura, Roshan Bibi w/o Makhan Din r/o Malaani tehsil Rajpura and Moju s/o Gaya r/o Malaani tehsil Rajpura district Samba.
