Chairman DDC Budgam, DGP F&ES jointly inaugurate new Fire & Emergency Building at Khag

BUDGAM, JUNE 14: Chairman, District Development Council (DDC) Budgam, Nazir Ahmad Khan, and Alok Kumar, Director General of Police (DGP) Fire & Emergency Services today jointly inaugurated a state-of-the-art Fire and Emergency services building in Khag.

The event was met with overwhelming appreciation from the local community, considering the area’s remote location.

The newly inaugurated Fire & Emergency building stands as a testament to the commitment of the local administration towards ensuring the safety and security of the residents in Budgam district. It is equipped with modern firefighting equipment, cutting-edge technology, and trained personnel to handle any emergency effectively.

Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, Chairman DDC Budgam, expressed his gratitude to the government for their continuous support in addressing the needs of the region. He emphasized the importance of prompt emergency services, especially in far-flung areas, and highlighted the significance of the new facility in Khag.
