DC discusses e-Auction of minor minerals in Udhampur

UDHAMPUR, June 14: To discuss the issuance of NOCs for e-Auction of minor minerals of Block nine and Seven,  Deputy Commissioner, Udhampur Sachin Kumar Vaishya today chaired a meeting of the District Level Committee of allied departments here in his office.

At the outset, DMO apprised the Committee members about various terms and conditions of the issuance of NOCs for e-auction of Minor mineral process of District Udhampur.

 Necessary directions were issued to the concerned officers to stay vigilant against illegal mining, while extraction of minerals.

Concerned officers were directed to conduct site inspections of these blocks. He exhorted upon the officers to work with dedication and zeal  keeping in view the important role of mining in producing material for developmental activities.
