DC Reasi visits Suketra Ghiyala Panchayat

Inspects ongoing developmental works

REASI, JUNE 21: District Development Commissioner Reasi Babila Rakwal today conducted an extensive tour of   Panchayat Suketra Ghiyala to inspect the pace and progress of various ongoing and completed developmental projects.

The DDC inspected progress on roads being constructed by R&B department viz. Anji Suketra & Anji Ghiyala road constructed under City Town plan, road from Kambal Danga to Ghair Mari School under pothole free programme. She directed the executing agency to complete the work of Anji Suketra road at the earliest.

She also inspected various works of the Rural Development Department viz. construction of balance work of Khul in Panchayat Suketra, bathing ghat constructed at Trintha bowli, fencing of graveyard at upper Ghiyala and construction works of lane & drains.

The DC asked the stakeholder departments to work with a vision of welfare of the people and make sure that all the projects are completed within the already set deadlines with strict adherence to the quality standards.

Earlier, she visited Amrit Sarovar in Panchayat Suketra Ghiyala and appreciated the work done. She directed Assistant Commissioner Development, Reasi to immediately take necessary measures with regard to beautification of Amrit Sarovar such as installation of benches and solar lights.

Additional District Development Commissioner Reasi, Assistant Commissioner Development Reasi, Executive Engineer PWD(R&B) Reasi, Chief Medical Officer Reasi, District Panchayat Officer Reasi, Block Development Officer Reasi and PRIs accompanied the Deputy Commissioner during the visit.
