MVD Doda organises “Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan” awareness campaign
DODA, July 08: To promote “Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan, Motor Vehicle Department Doda today organised an awareness campaign to educate travelers, locals, and especially drivers about the disastrous consequences of drug abuse.
The awareness campaign was organised at TRC Pul Doda under the supervision of ARTO Rajesh Gupta.
During the campaign, the ARTO advised the drivers and cleaners to stay away from drug abuse. He also highlighted the initiative launched by Deputy Commissioner Doda, which made drug testing kits available in the department. These kits can help identify drivers and cleaners who are addicted to drugs.
The ARTO asked the drivers to prioritize their health as it directly impacts passenger safety and security. Taking care of their well-being will contribute to a safer travel experience for everyone, he added.
The launch of the “Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan” awareness campaign by MVD Doda is a significant step towards combating drug abuse in the district. By raising awareness among drivers and the local community, it aims to create a drug-free environment and promote the well-being of all residents.
