ADDC Bandipora conducts physical verification of damages caused by natural calamities at Inderkote & Kanyari
BANDIPORA, July 18: The Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC) Bandipora, M Ashraf Hakak along with representatives from the Roads and Buildings (R&B) department Sumbal and the Revenue Department Sumbal, undertook a thorough physical verification of damages caused by natural calamities, specifically fire and earthquakes, in the areas of Inderkote Sumbal and Kanyari Hajin.
The objective of the verification process was to assess the extent of the damages caused and gather accurate information to facilitate relief and rehabilitation efforts for the affected individuals and families.
The joint team comprising M Ashraf Hakak, officials from the R&B Department, and the Revenue Department meticulously inspected the affected areas to ascertain the scale of devastation and determine the necessary measures to address the immediate and long-term needs of the affected residents.
The team interacted with the affected individuals, listened to their concerns, and empathized with their predicament. The physical verification process included assessing the structural damages, evaluating the loss of property and belongings, and gathering information on the overall impact on livelihoods.
Hakak expressed his deep concern for the affected residents and reassured them of the government’s commitment to providing swift assistance. He also lauded the cooperation and support received from the representatives of the R&B Department and the Revenue Department, recognizing their vital role in the verification process.
