Rs.2900 fine recovered for violating COTPA-2003 at Kupwara

KUPWARA, January 07: On the directions of Deputy Commissioner Kupwara, a team of Food Safety Department, headed by Assistant Commissioner Food Safety, Kupwara today inspected various government offices of Kupwara, Bus Stand Kupwara and other establishments and recovered fine of Rs.2900 from different persons for violating COTPA-2003.

On the occasion, the Assistant Commissioner Food Safety said that the drive will be a continuous process in future also, besides implementation of Food Safety Act 2006 in the district.
