DC Rajouri flags off mobile veterinary ambulances to strengthen animal healthcare services

RAJOURI, July 20: To bolster Animal healthcare facilities in the district, Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Vikas Kundal, today flagged off two mobile veterinary ambulances here from the Animal Husbandry Department office in presence of the Chief Animal Husbandry Officer and other officials.

The newly launched mobile veterinary ambulances aim to provide prompt medical assistance to animals in distress and strengthen the animal healthcare services in the region.

The ambulance will be stationed at strategic locations one at Rajouri HQr and other at Nowshera to cover a wide area and cater to the medical needs of a diverse range of animals.

Equipped with medical equipment and facilities, the ambulances will play a vital role in delivering emergency medical care and effectively addressing animal health concerns.

At the flagging off ceremony, the DC Rajouri, reiterated the government’s commitment towards the welfare of animals in the district. He highlighted the importance of ensuring timely medical aid to animals and improving the overall animal healthcare infrastructure.

The Chief Animal Husbandry Officer emphasized the significance of the mobile veterinary ambulances in reaching out to remote areas and offering much-needed veterinary services.

With the introduction of the mobile veterinary ambulance, the District Administration of Rajouri aims to reduce the suffering of animals in distress and create a more compassionate society for animals. This initiative will not only enhance animal healthcare but also foster awareness among the community about the importance of animal welfare.

The DC extended his gratitude to the Animal Husbandry Department and other stakeholders involved in the successful launch of the mobile veterinary ambulances. He also urged the public to come forward and report any animal health-related concerns to ensure that the ambulances can promptly reach and attend to them.
