Omar takes dig at BJP over Ghosh’s statement stating Manipur incident as baseless issue

SRINAGAR, 21 July: Former CM and NC Vice President Omar Abdullah took a swipe at the BJP leader Dilip Ghosh’s statement that what is happening in Manipur is a “baseless issue”.

Dilip Gosh, during a media interaction, said that “Whenever the Parliament session is about to start, they (Opposition) bring up baseless issues to disrupt the House.”

It is learnt that in Kangpokpi district of Manipur amid mob violence two women were stripped and paraded which triggered huge outrage. Several leaders from the political spectrum denounced BJP over it.
