UIET, Kathua Campus (JU) organizes a Workshop on “Android Development”
KATHUA, July 21: UIET, Kathua Campus (JU) organized a Workshop on “Android Development” in collaboration with the Google Developer Group (GDG), Jammu for the students of the Campus. The experts of the workshop including Mr. Abhinandan Trilokia (Organizer, GDG Jammu) and Mr. Atul Sharma (Associate Consultant, Infosys and Flutter Expert, GDG Jammu) trained the participants and suggested them to explore the limitless possibilities in the field of Android Development and Flutter Basics. With newfound knowledge and practical learning during the workshop, the students of Kathua Campus (JU) made a successful mark in developing their own android apps.
The workshop proved to be an exceptional platform for the students to discover the latest trends, exchange ideas, and learn from esteemed experts in the mobile development domain. With the ever-growing popularity of Android devices and applications, participants eagerly embraced this opportunity to delve deeper into the world of mobile app development. The students enjoyed an immersive hands-on session, allowing them to gain practical experience and insights into the intricacies of Android app advancement and growth.
Dr Meenakshi Kilam, Rector Kathua Campus (JU) in her message emphasized that the Android Workshop fostered a collaborative and inclusive environment where all the participants had the opportunity to network with like-minded individuals. She also added that the team activities and group discussions encourage the exchange of ideas and sparking creativity among the students. Dr. Kilam further said that the workshop introduced everyone to the latest tools and technologies shaping the future of Android app development. She further said that the students have gained invaluable insights from emerging frameworks to advanced debugging techniques during the workshop.
Dr. Sourabh Shastri, I/c Coordinator, UIET, Kathua Campus (JU) introduced and welcomed the team of GDG Jammu. He said that the workshop was committed to fostering innovation and knowledge sharing in the mobile development space.
Raghav Sharma, student of B.tech CSE 4th semester and member of GDG team coordinated the whole programme whereas Jatyam Billawaria, student of B.tech CSE 4th semester delivered vote of thanks.
Sourabh Mishra, Raghav Sharma, Daljeet Kumar, Jyotish Kumar Jha, Nittan Sharma, Atul Sharma and other team members of GDG Jammu were also present during the workshop.
