Ashok Kumar reviews functioning of Dharmarth Trust temples at Srinagar
SRINAGAR July 24 : Ashok Kumar Sharma, (SSP Retd) Secretary of Jammu & Kashmir Dharmarth Trust undertook a visit to various temples in Srinagar that fall under the purview of Dharmarth Trust. He assessed the functioning of these temples and interacted with the staff and priests to ensure seamless support for the visiting pilgrims.
The Secretary, accompanied by Trust officials, toured several temples including Kheer Bhawani Temple, Ganderbal, Shankaracharya Temple Srinagar and Shiv Gauri Temple Pahalgam to get a firsthand understanding of their operations. He emphasized the significance of providing every possible assistance to the devotees who visit these temples, ensuring a smooth and enriching experience for them.
Ashok Sharma particularly stressed the importance of maintaining strict adherence to duties by the staff and priests, with special attention to hygiene in the temple premises. He directed the personnel to maintain the sanctity and cleanliness of the sacred spaces, in line with the Trust’s commitment to upholding the highest standards.
Trust’s Secretary said the Trust is committed to promoting and safeguarding the rich cultural and spiritual heritage of the Union Territory. The Trust, through its various initiatives, endeavors to provide an enriching spiritual experience for pilgrims and devotees who visit the sacred temples, he added.
