Release of timely honorarium for VDGs will strengthen security grid in J&K: BJP
JAMMU Jammu 24: Release of timely honorarium for VDGs will go a long way to strengthen the security grid in Jammu & Kashmir, stated Basant Raj Thakur.
Basant Raj Thakur, BJP Village Defence Guard(VDG) Cell Convenor, J&K UT, while addressing media persons at party headquarter along with BJP leader Ramesh Katoch, said that VDGs salary issue has been going on far a long time & after hard struggle, this matter has been resolved.
For taking concrete action to resolve the security and the VDCs issues, Basant Raj Thakur expressed gratitude to the Prime Minister Narender Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, J&K UT Incharge Tarun Chugh, MP Dr. Jitendra Singh, MP Jugal Kishore Sharma, Seh Prabhari Ashish Sood, BJP J&K UT President Ravinder Raina, Gen. Sec. Organisation Ashok Koul, Ex Deputy CM Dr. Nirmal Singh, Ex Minister & Gen. Sec. JK UT Sunil Sharma as they had made efforts in resolving the issue of VDGs salary.
He also thanked J&K UT LG Manoj Sinha, for taking the prompt action on the issue.
Thakur said that now, the salary of VDGs members is being credited directly in their personal bank accounts. He also conveyed his thanks to J&K UT DGP Dilbagh Singh and all district SSPs of Jammu Province, who have rapidly implemented order in this regard and also he was grateful to all VDGs Cell members who worked with great understanding and patience and the result is in front today. He congratulated all VDGs members who trust BJP, even though they were sometimes hopeless but didn’t lose their confidence in BJP.
Thakur further reaffirmed that he would work whole-heartedly for the welfare of VDGs and assured the VDGs that BJP stands with them in every situation.
